Izak Beraha

This is my brother Izak Beraha. The photo was taken in 1938 in Ruse. My brother Izak was born in 1919. He lived in Ruse from 1937 until 1948. He was a clerk. He didn't complete his secondary education; he studied only in Kazanlak. Izak was very talented, but he had no money. So, he had to leave high school, although he was an excellent student. Then he became a worker in the Textile Factory in Kazanlak. In 1938 he went to live with my brother Iliya in Ruse. He was the first in the family to immigrate to Israel. He immigrated to Israel one year before my other brother, Iliya - during the Mass Aliyah in 1948. He lived in Yavne (in the central part of Israel). The typical thing of brother Izak was that he could get out of any situation, because he had a very shrewd mind. Izak had three children: Bina, Yako and Matilda. Bina has four children: Zako, Nick and two more, whose names I don't remember. Matilda has three children: Isak, Albert and a girl, whose name I don't know. She is married to Haim - I don't know his surname - who is a Moroccan Jew. Yako also has a family with children, but I don't know them. Izak died in 1993 or 94 in Israel, but I don't remember exactly where.
