Confirmation of Herta Coufalova's internment in a concentration camp

Confirmation of Herta Coufalova's internment in a concentration camp. This document was issued on 24th August 1972, by the Jewish religious community in Prague. I needed it for the Association of Political Prisoners. Later I left it, because it wasn't a very good organization. I said to myself, that those same anti-Semites back in Trebic, now they were communists. When I was already in Sumperk, I met one man who stopped me on the street. It turned out that it was Mr. Roubicek, who had also been in Terezin. He left on the first transport, AK 5, which left Prague in November of 1941. I got to know his wife very well, she survived those horrors. We had met in Terezin, where I had worked with her husband. He insisted that I should join the political prisoners' association, that maybe we'll receive some compensation. So I joined again. I don't know how long I was there, a year, maybe two. I left once again, because they said that Jews don't have any claim for compensation, what do they want, nothing happened to them. That it was they, the comrades, that fought. I didn't like the atmosphere, or those people. I never wanted anything from them, and never got it either. So I left it while I was still in Trebic.
