This is an exhibition that tells us much more about how Jews lived rather than how they died, and it is a tribute to all those in these pictures who were murdered in the Holocaust. The exhibition consists of 70 panels, and it premiered in 2009 in Terezin. In late 2013, it will tour the Czech Republic.

This is my grandfather Avel Pagirskiy (to the left) and the husband of my mother's sister Frida - Boris Shlapoberskiy. The picture was made in Karlsbad (Czech) in 1926 during vacation on the spa, where grandparents and other members of our large family used to go.
My grandmother´s sister Nelli. Nelli died in childbirth. Her daughter was raised by my grandparents. Actually they raised three children: my father, his sister, auntie Kato, and Babus.
