Jewish holiday cooking | Pessach

Rina Lund
Grade of Class:
6th Grade

The kids had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute ( you can see it on the photos ) . They also learned a lot about their very special roman Jewish traditions because they talked a lot while working together.

There had been a lot of dish proposals after the Pessach holiday but the kids deceided to choose something really special for Jewish Rome and they all agreed on the dish called PIZARELLE CON MIELE which means : little pieces with honey . It is really very special here and there is no Jewish home without it during Pessach . But , while working on it , the children discovered something interesting . Most of their mothers did not realy know how to prepare the dish . Because of the project now all the mothers in our class learned how to do it
